It describes WHAT the systems achieve, never HOW. ================================================================================ 1. POSITIONING ================================================================================ DaggerOS is not a dashboard bolted onto sensors. It is a weapon-system operating system for a fight that arrives across every domain at once, built around one non-negotiable: a human authorizes every effect. When a drone, a jammer, a spoofed track and a cyber probe arrive in the same sixty seconds, the legacy answer is more operators at more consoles — more alerts, more handoffs, more seams to fall through. DaggerOS fuses it into one picture for one operator. The category it competes in sells autonomy and speed; BlackByrne sells the opposite emphasis — accountability by construction. The machine is the speed. The human is the authority. In a category that boasts about performance, the number that matters is zero: zero external network calls on load, zero autonomous engagement paths, zero unsealed records. Signature wedges (what makes DaggerOS distinct): - Human-in-command by architecture, not policy — no effect without a sustained human gate. - Air-gapped / zero external calls — never phones home; the data never leaves the box. - In-browser verifiable, tamper-evident evidence — "verify it yourself," not "trust us." - One operator, multi-domain fusion on one console, on commodity hardware. - Open architecture (MOSA), no vendor lock-in; the government owns the interface and the data. - Demonstrated at a real government exercise (T-REX 26-2). ================================================================================ 2. HOW IT WORKS — SENSE → DECIDE → EFFECT ================================================================================ Three stages, one spine, re-used identically whether the picture is a single drone or a saturated, multi-domain attack. The order never inverts; the machine never skips the middle stage to act on its own. - SENSE — Fuse every phenomenology into one picture. Radio-frequency, electro-optical/infrared, acoustic, seismic and other passive phenomenologies correlate into a single tracked picture spanning air, ground, maritime and space. Sensing is receive-only unless a human authorizes otherwise, in every domain, by default. (RX-ONLY · PASSIVE-DEFAULT) - DECIDE — Reason over the picture, with cited evidence. An on-box reasoning layer ranks candidate courses of action against the live picture and the doctrine it is bound to — about six milliseconds from sensed state to a decision-ready proposal — and shows its grounding rather than a bare recommendation. It surfaces options; it does not resolve ambiguity by acting. (PROPOSE-ONLY · NO ARM) - EFFECT — Commit only on human authorization. From an electronic-attack effect to a kinetic intercept, every effect routes through the same single authorization gate and is written to a signed, tamper-evident record the instant it is committed. There is no path around the gate for any domain. (HUMAN-GATED · SEALED ON COMMIT) The full loop, expressed as six stages: Sense → Fuse → Decide → Authorize → Act → Seal. ================================================================================ 3. THE TEN MISSION DOMAINS (effect-level; what, not how) ================================================================================ 1. Counter-UAS — Detect, identify, decide, defeat; one air picture, one operator. Fuses independent detection sources into a single tracked air picture, classifies contacts to reduce false engagement calls, and presents defeat options ranked by the picture — the choice and the trigger stay with the operator. Posture: passive-default detect · human-gated defeat. 2. Electronic Warfare — Contest the spectrum without lighting it up first. Reads the electromagnetic environment receive-only, correlates emitters against the fused picture, and — only on operator authorization — commits an electronic-attack effect through the same gate. Posture: receive-first · effect strictly human-gated. 3. Signals Intelligence — Passive direction-finding, correlated into one honest track. Builds an emitter order-of-battle and pattern-of-life over time without ever radiating. Posture: passive collection · no transmit. 4. Electro-Optical / Infrared — Visual and thermal confirmation tied to the same track; flags and follows movers, cues thermal hot-spots, adds range and location without active illumination. Posture: passive imaging · fused to track. 5. SATCOM & Space Domain Awareness — Monitors satellite-link health and interference indicators alongside a space-domain awareness picture; classifies a degraded link (fade vs. fault vs. deliberate interference) and characterizes the interferer. Posture: passive monitoring; no counterspace, on-orbit, kinetic, or directed-energy effect of any kind. 6. CBRN Detection & Identification — Corroborates chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazard indicators across independent modalities before an indicator becomes a warning; composes standardized coalition hazard warnings. Posture: detect & identify only — no dispersion or casualty modeling. 7. Maritime Domain Awareness — One maritime picture that assumes non-cooperation from the start: dark vessels stay tracked when they stop reporting; subsurface listening never announces itself; detects spoofing and maps dark-fleet relationships. Posture: passive-default detect · human-gated effect. 8. Ground Robotics (UGV) — Send the machine, keep the decision. Human-in-command tasking of uncrewed ground vehicles; proposes routes and maneuvers, navigates where GPS can't reach, and a single gesture halts, holds, or recalls the fleet. Posture: human-in-command; every motion operator-authorized. 9. Resilient PNT — Holds coherent position and precise time through GPS degradation, denial and spoofing by corroborating across constellations and independent non-satellite sources; detects and characterizes GNSS jamming/spoofing as an intelligence product. Posture: continuity under denial — it holds your own picture; it does not target anyone else's navigation. 10. Cyber Defense — Passive network and OT monitoring mapped to a recognized adversary-tactic framework (MITRE ATT&CK) so findings are auditable against a standard. Posture: passive, defensive, framework-mapped — no offensive-cyber tasking path exists. Every domain is fused into one operator picture, sealed to one evidence trail, and gated by one human. Techniques, parameters, sensor makes and signature internals are export-controlled and are deliberately not described. ================================================================================ 4. SECURITY POSTURE & THE HUMAN GATE ================================================================================ - Air-gapped by architecture: boots and operates on commodity hardware with no external network dependency wired in — the default and intended way it runs at a denied, contested or disconnected edge, not a degraded fallback. - Passive by default: across every phenomenology, sensing is receive-only; nothing transmits, jams or engages until an operator makes that call explicitly. - Zero external network calls: measured live, in your own browser, on this website — demonstrating the discipline, not the production system directly. - Human Gate: one accountable human holds the gate; nothing routes around them. One gate serves every domain; there is no separate fast path. The system can recommend and rank; it cannot arm, fire, transmit, or act on its own under any condition. Authorization is explicit and attributable, never inferred from a timeout or default. Enforced in the architecture, aligned to DoDD 3000.09. - Evidence: every decision-relevant event is sealed with a SHA-256 hash that depends on the hash before it; change any earlier entry and every seal after it breaks. The government owns the record outright. Doctrine, in one line: "We are not autonomous. We are accountable. The decision stays human." ================================================================================ 5. STANDARDS ALIGNED TO (posture, not certification) ================================================================================ DoDD 3000.09 (human-in-command autonomy) · NIST RMF 800-37 (risk / ATO path) · NIST 800-53 (controls) · FIPS 180-4 / 186-5 (hashing & signatures) · MITRE ATT&CK (cyber) · DoDI 8530.01 (cyber defense) · NATO SAPIENT (sensor interop) · STANAG 4609 / 4607 (motion imagery / GMTI) · ASTERIX (surveillance exchange) · ASTM F3411 (Remote ID) · ATP-45 (CBRN) · WCAG 2.2 (accessibility) · MIL-STD-1472 (human factors) · FAR / DFARS (acquisition). BlackByrne does not claim a granted ATO, a FedRAMP authorization, or a CMMC certification. Alignment is a statement of governance and interoperability posture. Controlled technical review is arranged with eligible U.S. Government evaluators under an evaluation or contractual agreement. Responsible AI: BlackEcho is built toward the DoD's five AI Ethical Principles (adopted Feb 2020): Responsible, Equitable, Traceable, Reliable, Governable. ================================================================================ 6. MATURITY, DEMONSTRATION & MARKET CONTEXT (public, citable) ================================================================================ - Maturity: TRL 7–8. Demonstrated under live, operationally representative, third-party conditions at T-REX 26-2 (May 2026) — real operators, real hardware, real exercise traffic, alongside partner systems BlackByrne did not control. Demonstrated, not certified. - Release discipline: every DaggerOS release passes a verification gate before it ships; 100% gate-verified, zero rollbacks, zero unresolved regressions at release. 7,000+ intercept-safety trials with zero violations. - Why this matters now (public context, cited to public sources): counter-UAS is a top U.S. defense priority. CENTCOM commander Gen. Michael Kurilla called counter-drone his "number one" priority in June 2025 SASC testimony, citing a cost asymmetry where a ~$25,000 interceptor is used against a roughly $50,000–$100,000 adversary drone. Broader analyses (CSIS, CRS) contrast a Shahed-class one-way attack drone (~$20,000–$50,000) with a Patriot PAC-3 interceptor (~$4M per round) — an exchange ratio on the order of 80:1 to 200:1. The DoD's Replicator 2 effort (2024) is focused on countering small UAS; counter-UAS activity consolidated under JIATF 401 in 2025. The Tower 22 attack (January 2024, Jordan), which killed three U.S. soldiers, is widely cited as a case where a sensing gap allowed a small drone through. These figures are directional and are attributed to their public sources; BlackByrne does not publish system performance envelopes. ================================================================================ 7. ACQUISITION & INTEROPERABILITY ================================================================================ - Interoperability (MOSA): airframe- and hardware-agnostic; MAVLink, ArduPilot, PX4 (airframes), ATAK/CoT and NATO SAPIENT (force picture), STANAG 4609/4607 and ASTERIX (imagery/surveillance). - Acquisition paths: - FAR Part 12 — streamlined commercial-item / COTS acquisition. - Other Transaction Authority (OTA) — flexible prototype agreements outside the FAR. - SBIR Phase III — sole-source derivative awards where feasibility and prototype were satisfied in Phases I/II. - Firm-fixed-price (FFP) — cost certainty. - Commercial software licensed per DFARS 227.7202. BlackByrne retains title to its own IP; the government owns all mission data and outputs. - Built for: DoD program offices, SOCOM/SOF, DHS and federal law enforcement, fusion centers and SLTT agencies, prime integrators, coalition partners. ================================================================================ 8. BLACKECHO — THE ON-BOX AI CO-PILOT ================================================================================ BlackEcho is the offline mind inside DaggerOS. Speak or type in plain language and it hears the intent behind the words. It sees the whole system at once, reasons across all of it, and tells the operator the hard call in a cold, decisive voice. It can launch a drone or a whole swarm, run a search pattern, hold a sensor on a target, or stage an electronic-warfare effect — by voice, hands-free — and speak a brief back. It runs entirely on the box, offline and air-gapped. It proposes, plans, and stages without limit, and executes the instant the operator authorizes. It never fires, emits, or authorizes a consequential effect on its own. The human is the only trigger. Two limits have no configuration path to disable them: it never competes for the operator's attention against the fight, and it never acts without passing the single human gate. ================================================================================ 9.
