The company behind DaggerOS

We build for the fight after the lights go out.

BlackByrne is a United States defense-technology company and the maker of DaggerOS — an affiliate of BlackTimber Defense, and the commercial-facing arm that brings the platform to DoD program offices, special operations, and the agencies that defend the homeland.

What we believe

The hard problem was never the swarm. It was the question after.

Every engagement ends with one question, asked later in a quiet room: who decided — and can you prove it? We built DaggerOS so the answer is already yes. The machine sees every domain at once; one human holds the only seat that can say go; and the record holds when everything else goes dark.

We say what the system achieves, never how it works, and we publish only what is cleared for public release. The limits are the value — and they are what make the platform acquirable.

Elijah Black

CTO · Architect of DaggerOS

Technical and engineering lead. Architect of the DaggerOS platform and its safety doctrine — the single human gate, the air-gap-first posture, and the tamper-evident record at the core of everything the system does.

James Byrne, Chief Executive Officer of BlackByrne.

James Byrne

Chief Executive Officer

Leads BlackByrne's mission, partnerships, and path to the field — pairing the platform with the acquisition pathways and the program offices it was built to serve.

Who we serve

Built for the people who have to answer for the call.

DoD program offices

Open interfaces, one human gate, and a record of every call.

SOCOM / SOF

Runs at the edge with no reachback. You stay in command.

DHS & federal law enforcement

Detect, identify, and prove it — no cloud.

Fusion centers & SLTT

One shared picture across agencies, on evidence that holds up.

Prime integrators

A mature, open component that lowers integration risk.

Coalition partners

Coalition-interoperable. National data stays on the box.

Keep watch. Keep command.

Bring us a problem that spans domains.
