One operator holds the whole picture.

DaggerOS™ is an air-gapped, evidence-first decision-support operating system. One operator holds a single fused picture across ten mission domains, and every effect — kinetic or emitted — passes one Human Gate. It senses passively, ranks options, and never acts on its own.

Architecture

The whole loop, on one screen.

Six stages, one spine — re-used identically whether the picture is a single drone or a saturated, multi-domain attack. The order never inverts, and the machine never skips the middle stage to act on its own.

  1. 01 · SENSE

    Passive-by-default intake

Receive-only ingest across the RF, electro-optical/infrared, acoustic and radar environment. The platform listens before it ever transmits.

  2. 02 · FUSE

    One operator picture

Every domain resolves into a single tracked picture — no swivel-chair between screens. One sensor gives a bearing; many give a fix.

  3. 03 · DECIDE

    Rank options, cite evidence

DaggerOS ranks options against the picture and the rules of engagement, and shows its grounding. It does not choose.

  4. 04 · AUTHORIZE

    The single Human Gate

A human operator makes the call; nothing passes without a deliberate, sustained hold. There is no fast path, for any domain.

  5. 05 · ACT

    Only the authorized effect

Only an authorized effect — kinetic or emitted — is released, at machine speed, the instant the human gives the word.

  6. 06 · SEAL

    Written to the record

The decision is written to a tamper-evident, SHA-256-chained record — verifiable in-browser, owned by the government.

Authorization model

Weapons-free is a human authorization.

"Weapons free" is a verbal authorization — spoken by the human operator — that releases a kinetic effect or an active emission. DaggerOS proposes; the operator says the words; only then does an effect pass the Human Gate.

There is no autonomous engagement path, and this rule is stated once and holds everywhere — counter-UAS, electronic warfare, cyber, ground robotics, all of it. It is aligned to DoDD 3000.09 and enforced in code, not described in a manual.

Your word is the authorization. The machine is the speed.

BlackEcho · on-box · offline · a spoken command still passes the single human gate
BlackEcho · on-box AI co-pilot

It recommends. You authorize.

BlackEcho is the offline mind inside DaggerOS. It runs entirely on the box — no signature, no network — reads the fused picture, explains it, ranks courses of action, and stops there. Reachable by voice or plain language, hands-free, it can command aircraft, swarms, sensors and electronic-warfare effects and speak a brief back.

  • Recommends, explains, drafts and previews — never arms, fires, or seals.
  • On-box and offline — zero external network calls, nothing leaves the device.
  • Held to the DoD's five AI Ethical Principles: responsible, equitable, traceable, reliable, governable.
  • Two limits with no configuration path to disable them: it never competes for the operator's attention, and it never acts without passing the single human gate.
Interoperability · modular open-systems approach

Aligned to the standards the mission already speaks.

Open interfaces in, open interfaces out. DaggerOS folds into the picture your force already runs, rather than asking it to adopt a closed one. The government owns the interface and its mission data — no thirty-year lock-in.

NATO SAPIENT

Open, conforming sensor interfaces for autonomous-sensor interoperability.

ATAK / CoT

Folds into the force picture your teams already carry.

STANAG 4609 / 4607

Recognized motion-imagery and ground-moving-target exchange.

MAVLink · PX4 · ArduPilot

Airframe-agnostic command of the platforms you already field.

Deployment

Air-gapped, whichever way it deploys.

ON-BOX AT THE EDGE

Boots from encrypted media onto a commodity laptop. The whole chain fits in one case and stands up in minutes.

DISCONNECTED FORWARD

Runs fully disconnected at a denied, contested or simply remote edge — by design, not as a degraded mode.

FIXED-SITE

Stands a persistent watch over a base, a border, or critical infrastructure, on the same one picture and one gate.

Straight answers

DaggerOS — the questions evaluators ask.

Is DaggerOS a prototype?
No. DaggerOS is a demonstrated system at TRL 7–8, shown under live, operationally representative, third-party conditions at T-REX 26-2 in May 2026 — real operators, real hardware, real exercise traffic.
Can DaggerOS fire on its own?
No. There is no autonomous engagement path. Every effect — kinetic or emitted — passes one Human Gate: a deliberate, sustained human authorization. The system proposes and ranks; it never arms, fires, or acts on its own. Enforced in the architecture, aligned to DoDD 3000.09.
Does any data leave the box?
No. DaggerOS runs air-gapped on commodity hardware with zero external network calls — no cloud, no telemetry, no call-home. Sensing is passive by default; nothing transmits until a human authorizes it.
How is a decision recorded?
Every decision-relevant event is written to a tamper-evident, SHA-256-chained record. Alter one entry and every seal after it breaks. The government owns the record outright — the exportable proof of who decided.
What does DaggerOS interoperate with?
An open, modular architecture (MOSA): MAVLink, ArduPilot and PX4 for airframes; ATAK/CoT and NATO SAPIENT for the force picture; STANAG 4609/4607 and ASTERIX for imagery and surveillance exchange.
How many mission domains does it cover?
Ten mission domains on one codebase, each re-tasked from the same sense-decide-effect spine: Counter-UAS, Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, EO/IR, SATCOM & Space Domain Awareness, CBRN, Maritime, Ground Robotics, Resilient PNT, and Cyber Defense. See each domain.
